Richard Loyer: Managing Director
Richard is from County Down in Northern Ireland but has worked in the London area since 1991, initially working in the pharmaceutical field where he ended up as a national sales manager at Roche, before joining the translation industry in 2003.
He has worked with all types of clients and contracts across the private and public sectors, managing projects from £50 to £60M.
Outside Byword, he likes walking long distances for no reason, football, watching Ulster Rugby and attempts to play the bass guitar.
Jordyn Leckie: Head of Operations
Jordyn is from the West Coast of Scotland and they have always had a passion for foreign languages, leading to studying French and Italian at Strathclyde University in Glasgow.
After gaining management experience, they entered the language service industry as a Project Manager, building relationships with linguists, and experience within sectors ranging from Med-tech to public sector and everything in-between.
Outside of Byword, they are an advocate for diversity and inclusion, have recently started following women's football and they are also a proud fan of Taylor Swift
Paul Doran: Head of Business Development
Paul is usually the first point of contact for clients that work with Byword. A highly-experienced translation expert who is always willing to help with advice and guidance on any language-related matter.
He has helped clients in practically every industry with their translation requirements.
As a Mancunian born and bred, he braves the heavy rain regularly to watch top quality football, and plays a mean sax.
Naomi Donoghue: Head of Content Marketing
Naomi is from Dublin and has worked in the USA, Ireland, Germany, France and the UK.
She is responsible for our marketing, social media and website, bringing with her over 20 years' creative experience.
She was raised speaking English & Irish and is also a fluent German speaker as well as our resident expert on European culture.
Outside work she can be seen Dragon Boating on the Thames, The Ouse or occasionally in Venice.
